CHICAGO — An administrator for the estate of a deceased patient is suing DSI Manteno Owner LLC d/b/a Heritage Woods Manteno and Gardant Management Solutions Inc. a/k/a BMA Management Ltd. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries and negligence.
Robert Wascher, independent administrator of the estate of Ingeborg Wascher, filed a complaint on June 29 in the Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants failed to provide Ingeborg Wascher with proper care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Ingeborg Wascher experienced pain from suffering a fall, resulting in a broken humerus and the deterioration of her overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise Ingeborg Wascher in order to address her risk of falling.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $50,000. He is represented by Margaret P. Battersby Black and Nadia Adam Ahmed of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
