CHICAGO — A married couple is suing Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Sohal Patel, Suburban Neurologists S.C., and others for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries and negligence.
Jan Bujalski and Helana Bujalski filed a complaint on June 26 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide Jan Bujalski with proper medical care.
According to the complaint the plaintiffs allege Bujalski suffered a stroke while in the hospital. The plaintiffs holds the defendants responsible for allegedly allowing him to be discharged before monitoring his new dosage of blood pressure medication. After being released from the hospital, the plaintiff allegedly suffered another stroke.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by Raymond C. Steadmon of McKeen & Associates P.C. in Kalamazoo, Mich.
