Brentwood North Healthcare Center allegedly failed to prevent patient from choking

CHICAGO — An executor of the estate of a deceased patient is suing Brentwood North Healthcare Center and Glen Health and Home Management Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Dennis Brady, independent executor of the estate of George Bode, filed a complaint on July 7 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide Bode with proper medical care and prevent him from choking on food. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Jason M. Kellerman of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
