Patten Power Systems accused of breach of contract

CHICAGO — A Delaware-based corporation is suing Patten Power Systems for alleged breach of contract.

Equipment Corporation of America filed a complaint on July 6 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant failed to perform its contractual obligation to make repairs to the plaintiff's drill rig.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges it suffered damages because the defendant allegedly failed to repair the rig.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $300,000 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Daniel T. Graham and Timothy R. Hermana of Clark Hill PLC in Chicago.
