Glenview Terrace Nursing Home, Northwestern Memorial Hospital allegedly failed to prevent injuries

CHICAGO — A couple is suing Glenview Terrace Nursing Home and Northwestern Memorial Hospital for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries and negligence.

William and Susan Hogan filed a complaint on July 6 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide William Hogan with proper care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Glenview Terrace Nursing Home failed to properly diagnose Hogan's alteration in skin integrity and that Northwestern Memorial Hospital improperly administered an enema.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by Francis P. Morrissey and David J. Rashid of Burke Wise Morrissey & Kaveny in Chicago.
