Arbor Center for Eyecare S.C. accused of failing to remove debris from woman's eye

CHICAGO — A former patient is suing Arbor Center for Eyecare S.C. and doctor David Lubeck for alleged negligence and for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Melody Romano filed a complaint on July 11 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained serious injuries to her eye. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to diagnose, treat and remove capsular debris in her left eye.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Timothy P. Rhatigan and Daniel J. Biederman Jr. of Rhatigan Law Offices LLC in Chicago.
