CHICAGO — A patient's family is suing Bria of Chicago Heights, Bria Health Services LLC and a nurse alleging they failed to prevent the patient from developing pressure sores.
Cicily Solomon, independent administrator of the estate of Dexter Solomon, filed a complaint on July 11 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide Solomon with proper medical care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to adequately supervise Solomon to prevent the development of pressure sores.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Andrew J. Thut of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
