CHICAGO — A woman is suing Edward Hospital, Suburban Gastroenterology Ltd., DuPage Valley Anesthesiologists Ltd. and doctors Shivani Kirluk and Keith Hanni for alleged negligence and for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Violetta Petrik filed a complaint on July 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she developed deep tissue ulcers and also experienced pain when her endoscopy was not postponed for an appropriate amount of time after eating or drinking. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to treat her ulcers.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Bradley L. Schulman of Motherway & Napleton LLP in Chicago.
