Exelon Corporation sued after worker injures foot on scaffolding

CHICAGO — A man man is suing Exelon Corporation, and related entities for alleged negligence after he injured his foot on a scaffolding.

Christopher Kim filed a complaint on July 18 in the Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide him with a reasonably safe working environment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained serious physical injuries on Nov. 5, 2016. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to make sure that the scaffold he was using was in perfect working condition, causing his foot to go through the scaffolding.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. He is represented by David C. Wise of Burke Wise Morrissey & Kaveny in Chicago.
