CHICAGO — A man's family is suing doctor Grant D. Sievertsen and DuPage Medical Group Ltd. for allegedly misdiagnosing pneumonia, contributing to the man's death.
Valerie Pombert, independent administrator of the estate of Wayne Pombert, filed a complaint on July 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide Pombert with proper medical care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Pombert died after his pneumonia went undiagnosed. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to diagnose Wayne Pombert's condition and provide the necessary treatment.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by John J. Simonetti of Marino & Simonetti in Chicago.
