CHICAGO — A couple is suing doctor Keith C. Knapp Jr. and Knapp Medical Center Ltd. for allegedly prescribing a woman a drug which harmed her.
Elvira Jimenez Schreck and Matthew Schreck filed a complaint on July 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Jimenez Schreck experienced pain, including swelling, edema and bruising as a result of taking the drug, Lipitor. The plaintiffs holds the defendants responsible for allegedly prescribing the drug to her despite allegedly seeing the signs of her adverse reaction to it.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants plus court costs. They are represented by Kurt D. Lloyd of Lloyd Law Group Ltd. in Chicago.
