Clark Manor Convalescent Center, others allegedly failed to prevent patient from falling

CHICAGO — A man's family is suing Clark Manor Convalescent Center, J.S. Affiliates Ltd. and JLR Financial Services Corp. f/k/a JLR Management Corp. for alleged negligence and for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Itadil Zayed, independent administrator of the estate of Said Mohammad Zayed, filed a complaint on July 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Zayed experienced pain after suffering a fall. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise Zayed to address his risk of falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Jaime A. Koziol and Andrew R. Manno of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
