Alden Estates of Barrington Inc. accused of letting man's tracheostomy tube become clogged

CHICAGO — A man's family is suing Alden Estates of Barrington Inc. and Alden Management Services Inc. for alleged negligence and for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Kathleen Cesarotti, independent administrator of the estate of Eugene Cesarotti, filed a complaint on July 28 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to prevent Eugene Cesarotti's tracheostomy tube from becoming clogged. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise to Cesarotti.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Michael F. Bonamarte and Michelle E. Thompson of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
