Lexington Health Care Center of Orland Park Inc allegedly failed to prevent pressure sores

CHICAGO — A man is suing Lexington Health Care Center of Orland Park Inc. and Royal Management Corporation for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent his relative, a patient at the care center, from developing pressure sores.

Robert James Jr., independent administrator of the estate of LV James, filed a complaint on July 28 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to adequately supervise and assist James to prevent the development of pressure sores.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Jaime Koziol Delaney and Megan Shore of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
