CHICAGO — A former employee is suing Redbox Automated Retail LLC and Coinstar LLC, which is now known as Outerwall Inc., for alleged age discrimination and wrongful termination.
Gary Chardavoyne filed a complaint on July 17 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleging the defendants fired him because of his age.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all compensation and benefits due to him, compensatory damages, liquidated damages, punitive damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Erika Pedersen and Jill Weinstein of Pedersen & Weinstein LLP in Chicago.
