CHICAGO — A woman is suing Loyola University Medical Center for alleged negligence, liability and for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Diane Williams-Smith filed a complaint on Aug. 3 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained physical injuries to her ankle, back and neck when she stepped on poles or pipes that allegedly were placed on the floor. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to warn her of the dangerous conditions of the premises due to the pipes on the floor.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Stanley T. Kusper, III of Kusper & Raucci Chartered in Chicago.
