CHICAGO — A woman is suing Depuy Orthopaedics Inc. and Premier Orthopaedic Sales Inc. for alleged design defect, liability and product liability.
Katherine Wagner filed a complaint on Aug. 4 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants manufactured and sold defective hip implants, which led to her developing an infection.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by Peter J. Flowers of Meyers & Flowers L.L.C. in Chicago.
