CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Manorcare Health Services South Holland for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent a patient from developing pressure ulcers.

Charlene Garth, independent administrator for the estate of Mildred Guyton, filed a complaint on Aug. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to adequately supervise Guyton to prevent her from developing pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Matthew K. Henry of Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
