CHICAGO — A man is suing Loandepot.com LLC for alleged violation of telephone harassment statutes.
Joseph Anthony Ross filed a complaint on July 31 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleging the defendant called him several times to offer its services in July 2017. The calls to his cellular telephone were allegedly unwanted and continued despite his request to stop.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual and punitive damages, court costs, to enjoin the defendant and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Nathan C. Volheim of Sulaiman Law Group Ltd. in Lombard.
