CHICAGO — The family of a deceased woman is suing the Dekalb County Rehab & Nursing Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent pressure sores.
Arthur Sablik, guardian of the estate and person of Bernice Sablik, filed a complaint on Aug. 11 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant failed to adequately supervise Bernice Sablik to prevent her from developing pressure sores.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Jaime Koziol Delaney and Nadia Adam Ahmed of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
