King of Diamonds, Greatbanc Trust Company accused of negligence

CHICAGO — A man is suing Kim Wash and Tony Wash, owners of entertainment club King of Diamonds, and Greatbanc Trust Company, the club's property owner, for alleged assault, battery, negligence and unlawful sale of liquor to intoxicated persons.

Michael Braxton filed a complaint on Aug. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide adequate security at their establishment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he sustained injuries from allegedly being assaulted and beaten at King of Diamonds.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus damages and court costs. He is represented by Michael R. Richmond of Heller & Richmond Ltd in Chicago.
