Fun Time Square, Automated Batting Cages Inc. allegedly failed to prevent man from being hit by ball in batting cage

CHICAGO — A man is suing Fun Time Square and Automated Batting Cages Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Frank Williams filed a complaint on Aug. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants failed to take precautions to ensure he didn't get hit by a ball while using a batting cage.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained serious physical injuries, including the loss of a testicle. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to warn the him of the possibility of getting hit by a ball while using a pitching machine.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the minimum jurisdiction of this court. He is represented by Michael J. Goldberg of Whiteside & Goldberg Ltd. in Chicago.
