CHICAGO — An estate representative is suing The Villa at Windsor Park, Villa Financial Services LLC and the University of Chicago Medical Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent a patient from developing pressure ulcers.

Carliss C. Ellison, independent executor of the estate of Dorothy Lee Ellison, filed a complaint on Aug. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to adequately supervise Ellison to prevent her from developing pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Michael F. Bonamarte and Daisy Ayllon of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
