Presence Resurrection Life Center allegedly failed to prevent patient from developing pressure ulcer

CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Presence Resurrection Life Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Giovanni Campisi, special administrator of the estate of Consiglia Panzeca, filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Panzeca experienced pain from developing a pressure ulcer. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise Panzeca to prevent the development of a pressure ulcer.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Jerome Schachter & Associates Ltd. in Skokie.
