CHICAGO — A woman is suing Alden-Wentworth Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Inc. and affiliated entities for alleged wrongful death.
Patricia Doles, special administrator for the estate of Mary Doles, filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Mary Doles suffered multiple falls. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Doles to address her risk of falling. The plaintiff claims the defendants' alleged negligence contributed to the patient's death.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Michael T. Mertz and Molly L. Condon of Hurley McKenna & Mertz P.C. in Chicago.
