CHICAGO — A woman is suing Elmbrook Skilled Nursing Facility L.L.C., Elmbrook Healthcare & Rehabilitation Centre, Elmbrook Living & Rehab, The Grove of Elmhurst and Legacy Healthcare Network L.L.C. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Gabriella Heredia filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she was injured when she fell out of her wheelchair. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide her with adequate assistance while transporting her in a wheelchair.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Dennis T. Schoen and Jennie E. Miskell of Dennis T. Schoen P.C. in Chicago.
