Woman hit by a bus sues Rush U. Med Center, ABM Parking Services for negligence

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Rush University Medical Center, ABM Parking Services Inc. and a bus driver for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Jennifer Tran filed a complaint on Aug. 25 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the driver failed to properly control a shuttle bus, causing Tran to sustain serious physical injuries to her right wrist, left arm, right knee and her face when she was allegedly hit by the bus. ABM Parking Services allegedly employed the driver and the incident allegedly took place on or near the Rush University campus.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Eric D. Stubenvoll and Kevin T. Mocogni of Fisher Kanaris P.C. in Chicago.
