Bria Health Services of Palos Hills allegedly failed to prevent patient from falling

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Bria Health Services of Palos Hills for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent her relative's injuries.

Therese Hernandez, administrator of the estate of Rene Hernandez, filed a complaint on Aug. 31 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Rene Hernandez experienced pain from suffering a fall because the defendant allegedly failed to adequately supervise Hernandez to prevent falls.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Jason M. Kellerman of Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
