Chicago Cubs allegedly failed to prevent woman from falling at Wrigley Field

CHICAGO — A woman is suing the Chicago Cubs for alleged liability and negligence.

Kerri Evans filed a complaint on Sept. 1 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained physical injuries as the result of slipping and falling at Wrigley Field on Sept. 3, 2016. The plaintiff says Cubs employees allegedly failed to remove a slippery substance on the floor or provide adequate warning.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Paul McMahon of Costello, McMahon, Burke & Murphy Ltd. in Chicago.
