CHICAGO — The family of a man who died in an aircraft crash is suing Cirrus Aircraft and Continental Motors Inc. for alleged liability and negligence.
Haydn Murray, Zane Murray, Shelby Murray, Samantha Murray and Gretchen Murray, administrator of the estate of Mark Murray, filed a complaint on Aug. 29 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to check for defects that could cause failure in the camshaft, crankshaft and piston of the engine of an aircraft that crashed shortly after takeoff in August 2015 in Kewanee.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the minimum jurisdiction of this court plus any other damages. She is represented by the Law Offices of Peter G. Bora in Mount Prospect.
