CHICAGO — A woman is suing Island Party Boat LLC and Pontoon Management LLC for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Kayla Davis filed a complaint on Sept. 5 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to keep their boat reasonably safe for her.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she hit her arm on the railing as she was sliding down a slide attached to the defendants' boat. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to warn her of the dangerous condition of the slide.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Richard R. Gordon and Robert K. Albrecht of Gordon Law Offices Ltd. in Chicago.
