Alden Poplar Creek Rehab & HCC allegedly failed to prevent woman from falling

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Alden Poplar Creek Rehab & HCC for alleged negligence.

Carol Braun, independent administrator of the estate of Dorothy Freeman, filed a complaint on Sept. 12 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Freeman fell and fractured her hip because the defendant allegedly failed to adequately supervise Freeman to prevent her from falling.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Jason M. Kellerman of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
