CHICAGO — American Surgical Assistants, Inc., which does business as American Surgical Professionals, is suing Marcus Howton, an Illinois resident, citing alleged breach of contract.
The Texas company filed a complaint on Aug. 28 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against Howton alleging he took plaintiff's confidential information while still their employee, then used the information to compete against them.
The plaintiff alleges Howton interfered with plaintiff's customers and contractual relationships.
The plaintiff seeks enjoin the defendant, damages, and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Louis S. Chronowski, Kristine R. Argentine and Emily C. Kesler of Seyfarth Shaw LLP in Chicago.
