Di'Jon Inc. accused of breach of contract for skipping payments to union fund

CHICAGO — Several trustees are suing Di'Jon Inc. for alleged breach of contract.

Trustees of the Health and Welfare Fund of the Excavating, Grading and Asphalt Craft Local No. 731 filed a complaint on Aug. 30 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleging the defendant failed to make monthly payments to the fund, breaching its agreement with the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs seek enjoin the defendant, unpaid contributions, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Laura M. Finnegan of Baum Sigman Auerbacah & Neuman Ltd. in Chicago.
