Red Roof Inn Waukegan failed to protect employee from sexual harassment, suit says

CHICAGO — A man is suing KKVP Corp., which does business as Red Roof Inn Waukegan, for alleged sexual harassment and violation of civil rights.

DiMonte Pryor filed a complaint on Aug. 29 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleging the defendants allowed the him be sexually harassed during his employment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendantsfailed to protect him from a coworker's unwelcome and extremely offensive sexual conduct.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an injunction against the defendants and damages in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs, interest, punitive and compensatory damages and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Uche O. Asonye and Adrian Jonak of Asonye & Associates in Chicago.
