Symphony of Chicago West allegedly failed to prevent man from falling

CHICAGO — A man is suing Symphony of Chicago West for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries to his relative.

Akeem Hopkins, independent administrator of the estate of Louis Hopkins, filed a complaint on Sept. 15 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging Hopkins experienced physical injuries after suffering a fall. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Hopkins to prevent him from falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Kent M. Lucaccioni Ltd. in Chicago.
