CHICAGO — A woman is suing Midway Neurological and Rehabilitation Center and Mobile Intervention and Diagnostic for liability and negligence.
Gladys Villegas, independent administrator to collect for the estate of Jose Villegas, filed a complaint on Sept. 15 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Jose Villegas was injured when his gastrostomy tube was removed and not properly replaced. Villegas later died.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $50,000. She is represented by Kristen K. Koeller of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
