Presence Chicago Hospitals Network, doctors allegedly failed to properly perform ankle surgery

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Presence Chicago Hospitals Network and Ameha T. Joba D.P.M. and Michael M. Maghrabi D.P.M. P.C. for alleged negligence.

Mariola Grabska filed a complaint on Sept. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she experienced pain and sustained physical injuries that allegedly caused her to become disabled. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly perform a surgical procedure on her and secure her left ankle fractures.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Gary P. Stone of Karchmar & Stone in Chicago.
