Travel 100 Group Inc. accuses former employee of breaching contract, taking confidential info

CHICAGO — A company is suing Amy Buchert, a former employee, for alleged breach of contract.

Travel 100 Group Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleging the former employee accessed its electronic systems after her employment had ended.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges confidential information was then used against it. The plaintiff accuses the defendant of allegedly authorizing and inducing others to access its systems and information.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendant, force her to return all confidential information, compensatory damages, lost profits, disgorgement, statutory damages, punitive damages, double damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Marc C. Smith, William Bogot, Colin D. Dougherty and Benjamin H. McCoy of Fox Rothschild LLP in Chicago.
