CHICAGO — A woman is suing Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Angelina Andrade, independent administrator of the estate of Ernesto Chavez, filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Chavez suffered a fall that allegedly contributed to the deterioration of his overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide Chavez with adequate supervision and assistance to address his risk of falling.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by Craig P. Mannarino and Amanda L. Brasfield of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
