CHICAGO — A woman is suing Brentwood Sub-Acute Healthcare Center for allegedly failing to prevent a patient from developing pressure ulcers.

Brenda Waters, independent administrator of the estate of Lillie Waters, filed a complaint on Sept. 15 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Lillie Waters experienced pain from pressure ulcers. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Waters to prevent her from developing the ulcers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Kristen N. Koeller of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
