CHICAGO — A man is suing The Original Mother's and an unknow assailiant for alleged negligence.
Sami Taha filed a complaint on Sept. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging The Original Mother's failed to keep its establishment reasonably safe for its patrons.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he was struck in the back of his head and fell to the ground on Aug. 20. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide adequate security inside their premises.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for damages that exceed the jurisdictional limits of this court, plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Junilla Sledziewski and Alan J. Statman of Statman, Harris & Eyrich LLC in Chicago.
