CHICAGO — A doctor is suing Northwestern Medical Group, Dr. M. Christine Stock and Dr. David Walega for alleged breach of contract, retaliation and wrongful termination.
Dr. Jeffrey A. Katz filed a complaint on Sept. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants terminated him for refusing to participate in illegal activities and after he reported problems via the NWM management chain.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $200,000 plus court costs and punitive damages. He is represented by Robert J. Trizna and Steven R. Jakubowski of Robbins, Salomon & Patt Ltd. in Chicago.
