CHICAGO — A woman is suing Northwestern Medicine, Near North Podiatry, Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, Northwestern Healthcare Corporation, Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, Northwestern Medical Group, George V. Bucciero DPM P.C., Dr. Joel Wilsnack and Dr. George Bucciero for alleged negligence.
Brandi Boyd filed a complaint on Sept. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to diagnose and to recognize the signs of Charcot foot and provide the necessary treatment.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants for medical, drug and incidental expenses, general damages and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Cindy G. Fluxgold of Goldstein, Fluxgold & Baron P.C. in Chicago.
