CHICAGO — A woman is suing Dr. Gladys Macagba, Dr. Riaz Elahi, Dr. Ajay Parikh, Dr. Agop Tepeli, Dr. Aneta S. Bush, Dr. Allison Petrak, Advocate Medical Group and Advocate South Suburban Hospital for alleged negligence.
Phyllis Lockett, executor of the estate of Mildred Lockett, filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Mildred Lockett was diagnosed with sickle cell pain crisis in September 2016, which allegedly caused pain and eventually the deterioration of her overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly misdiagnosing Mildred Lockett's acute chest syndrome and treat her sickle cell pain crisis.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by John G. Kelly and Gregory R. Ignoffo of Kelly & Ignoffo Law Group P.C. in Chicago.
