CHICAGO — A woman is suing CC Care LLC, Community Care Center, and related entities for alleged negligence in the care of her relative.

Patricia Teague, special administrator of the estate of Rosetta Teague, filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Rosetta Teague suffered medical aspiration, which allegedly caused the deterioration of her overall health, while in the defendants' care. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise Teague to provide the necessary treatment to prevent aspiration.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Michael T. Mertz of Hurley, McKenna & Mertz P.C. in Chicago.
