CHICAGO — A woman is suing Bowes Creek Active Adult Master Association Inc., Bowes Creek Active Adult Townhome Owners Association Inc. and the city of Elgin for alleged liability and negligence.
Judith M. Welsh filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained physical injuries when she tripped and fell on a raised section of a concrete sidewalk on Sept. 23, 2016. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to inspect and repair the defects of the sidewalk or provide adequate warning of its alleged hazardous condition.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $30,000 plus court costs. She is represented by the Law Office of John M. Kovac in Bolingbrook.
