CHICAGO — A woman is suing the Villa at Evergreen Park, Veracare Burbank and Brentwood Sub-Acute Healthcare Center for alleged negligence.
Evelyn Gates filed a complaint on Sept. 29 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she developed pressure ulcers while in the defendants' care, because the defendants allegedly failed to adequately supervise and assist her.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Bella Feinstein and Kristen K. Koeller of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
