Estate administrator accuses several doctors of negligently performing surgery

CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing doctors Martin Borhani, Pankti Patel,  Mark Gonzalez, Isaac Livshetz,  Aaron Schwartz and Gary Edwards for alleged negligence.

Fredrick W. Baker, independent administrator of the estate of Magnolia A. Baker, filed a complaint on Sept. 25 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Magnolia A. Baker suffered a limb ischemia, amputation and sepsis, which allegedly caused the deterioration of her overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to perform a pre-operative vascular surgery consultation on Magnolia A. Baker based on her history before proceeding with the surgery.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Robert R. Duncan and Katherine A. Ross of Duncan Law Group LLC in Chicago.
