CHICAGO — A woman is suing Lexington of Elmhurst, Royal Management Corporation and a nurse for alleged negligence in the care of another woman.
Derenda McGhee, independent administrator to collect for the estate of Clara Jenkins, filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Jenkins suffered a fall, which allegedly caused serious physical injuries, including a dislocated right hip and a fractured right femur. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Jenkins to prevent her from falling.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Susan Novosad and Andrew Manno of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
